Before you declare yourself Marketing Genius

What must happen? What "score" says you are the best? If we look at the Superbowl Sunday Hall of TV Commercials for each year what are we looking for that says "excellence written here"? For the marketer isn't it getting a Return on Investment? In the guise of buying a product or service  that you  had a role in designing? Yes..but! Yes, but if that product or service better kick! If you did your job yet the actual product does not pay off( "Not My Job") don't you then become no longer a marketer but a friend-to-customers-where -not-to-shop? And you lose. Don't lose and so that ,means playing a role in the whole process. Make sure your service and product kicks-make the grade-promises what you say it does. That is called integrity and if you do all that work it will do you well. What kind of meat does Carl's Jr use? That is what should be important to you...Focus on the quality of the buns on the sandwich.Then do your Marketing...yes, that is good.
